At Taylor made kilts we will make your kilt in any standard mill tartan, to hire as part of a full outfit hire. It will be made to your measurements and combined with our existing hire Jackets and waistcoats and accessories.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual, the groom, father of the groom etc to wear the tartan of your choice. In terms of a wedding party, why not combine your chosen tartan with our existing hire outfit options, for the groomsmen, by mixing and matching the many combinations we are able to offer to build the perfect full outfit!
You will also have the opportunity to purchase your tartan item(s) after the hire period, whether that be an adult kilt, boys kilt, tartan trews or plaid.
If your tartan is not a ‘run of the mill’ medium weight tartan, we can still make it, however additional costs will apply.
Adult ‘Any Tartan’ kilt – full outfit hire – From £325, option to buy the kilt after hire period from £250
Boys ‘Any Tartan’ kilt – full outfit hire – From £270, option to buy the kilt after hire period from £130
Upgrades on sporran, brooch (from existing hire stock) and premium coloured socks, available
Adult ‘Any Tartan’ trews – full outfit hire – From £260, option to buy the trews after hire period from £130 (boys not available and does not include shoes)
Matching Plaid – Hire from £95, option to buy after hire period from £95
Tartan ties – Bought outright – From £35
Own choice brooch – Bought outright – £60

- A minimum of 12 weeks is required to make your kilt
- Does not include a shirt
- Option to buy the kilt, trews or plaid expires 6 weeks after the hire period
- Can be used in conjunction with our ‘10% off when you book 6 or more full outfits’. Your ‘any tartan’ full outfit hire would not be eligible for the 10% discount but the remaining standard full outfit hires will receive a 10% discount.
E.g….
1 x ‘Any Tartan’ full outfit hire and 5 x standard full outfit hires….The 5 standard full outfit hires receive the 10% discount
Total hire price including 10% discount – From £887.50
If you are hiring a 7th, 8th, 9th standard full outfit and so on – Those full outfits also receive the 10% discount
