At Taylor Made Kilts, all of our hire and made to measure kilts and jackets are made of the finest cloth, weaved by the industry leading mills of Scotland and tailored by talented experts in their craft.

Our kilt hire range (male and female) consists of eight modern tartans that can be matched, using different colour combinations with our modern Crail jackets and waistcoats (peat, midnight blue, charcoal, light grey and Moss Green). You can swap the jacket and waistcoat for a Jacobean shirt (black or white). All of these combinations are available in boys sizes, therefore everyone can be part of the ‘clan’.

For those who want to feel proud to wear tartan but don’t want to wear a kilt, we have silver granite tartan trouser outfits you can hire. 

If it is made to measure you are looking for, we offer a variety of options (adult male / female and boys) from thousands of tartans and tweeds, whether you are looking to buy a bespoke jacket and waistcoat, a kilt made in your clan / family tartan, a full highland kilt outfit which is made to your own personal style or you want to look braw in made to measure Trews or a ‘Taylor Made’ full suit.

If it’s Highland Dancing you are looking for, we have a large range of tartans available for our made to measure kilts. Our Highland Dancing hose are made in Scotland with the finest wool and for our dance pumps we work together with a company who are the official suppliers of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.

If you are not able to come and see us in person, we have experience in completing hire and made to measure measurements over zoom, so you don’t even need to leave the house.
